User Administration

User Administration covers approval requests and portal user and role management. Identity creation occurs outside SENSE: users must already be authenticated by the external Keycloak identity service.

Before using these procedures, have the premade Keycloak realm and Portal client configured. See Configure the premade Keycloak realm.

The portal UI requires SYSTEM_ADMIN. User-management actions also have separate backend role and capability requirements; having access to the UI alone does not prove server authority.
